I waited for you since yesterday's morning

I waited for you since yesterday's morning,
that you won't come they probably guessed.
Remember what beautiful weather it was?
A holiday weather!
And I walked coatless.
Today you are here, and they have arranged
an utterly gloomy and cloudy day.
It rains, and it's getting unusually late.
The rain drops are running down the cold terrain,
unsoothable by word, unwipable by hand.

kubla, hello
this is also beautiful, I like the simplicity, the way every day details are looked at or felt in a new light. only one word, like 'unsoothable' is enough to make the rain drops fall differently. still, the first one is better, you were right.

Roxana, Hi

"only one word, like 'unsoothable' is enough to make the rain drops fall differently".
you express it beautifully.
